Chapter 272
I said firmly, “Yes, so I hate that son of a bitch!”
Dylan’s mouth twisted into what might have been a smile. “Sounds like you and I are natural allies then! I want Nathan’s head!*
I seized the opportunity immediately, letting some of my genuine hatred show. “Your Majesty! Given the chance, I would drain every drop of his blood, crush his bones one by one, and listen to him scream in agony! The pain he caused me, I want him to experience a hundred times over, a thousand times over!”
Dylan threw his head back and laughed. Beside me, Kael seemed pleased with how our first meeting was progressing.
“Now the question is,” Kael interjected, “how do we bring him down?”
“Nathan is powerful,” I said, settling into my role as strategic advisor. “But he has weaknesses.”
‘Rachel,‘ Kael guessed immediately.
I couldn’t keep the disgust from my voice. “That fucking bitch? She’s so annoying, I’d love to watch her die.” I composed myself, remembering my plan. “But for now, she needs to stay alive. Jason wants her.”
Dylan’s brow furrowed. “And why is that?”
“Jason’s wife can’t bear children,” I explained. “They tried using Rachel’s blood to help the queen, but it failed. Now Jason wants to capture Rachel alive to drain her blood.” I paused for effect. “He offered me military support if I delivered Rachel to him.”
‘Her blood can repair… problems?” Dylan asked, confusion evident in his expression,
“They say just one drop of her blood can heal those near death,” I replied.
The look that crossed Dylan’s face was pure sadistic interest, his eyes lighting up with cruel possibilities.
‘We’ll still work with Jason, I assured him, then leaned forward slightly. “But why give Rachel to Jason when we could capture her ourselves? Who knows when we might need such miraculous blood?”
Dylan’s eyebrows shot up. “You would betray your alliance with Jason?”
I shrugged one shoulder dismissively. “So what? Your army is strong, Your Majesty. With your support, capturing Rachel would be simple,”
Dylan nodded, a small smile playing at his lips at my flattery.
“We’ll keep her barely alive,” I continued, warming to my plan. “Her blood could help secure Kael’s position as king in the future.”
“And what would you do with her?” Kael asked, a curious glint in his eyes.
I allowed myself to indulge in the fantasy, feeling excitement build as I described it. “I can imagine the tortures she’ll endure under my control–she’ll beg for death.” My lips curved into a cruel smile. “For added fun, I’ll make Nathan watch his bitch suffer right in front of him!”
Kael laughed, reaching ever to squeeze my hand. “You’re such a bad girl, Madison–but I like it!”
“There’s actually an excellent opportunity right now I said, remembering the real reason I’d wanted to speak with Kael earlier.
“Spit it out,” Dylan said.
“I received reports that Nathan left his camp a few hours ago, heading north with a small team, I revealed, savoring the moment. “My people have tracked their direction. It appears they’re headed to a village with an ancient temple.”
Dylan’s eyes narrowed. How reliable is this information?
I allowed myself a confident smile. “Those wanderer wolves can’t pillage and kill as they please under Nathan’s rule. They naturally turn to me, especially

when the Ironjaw Alpha is away.”
Dylan’s expression transformed with satisfaction. Indeed good news! Well done.” He turned to Kael. “You’ve found yourself a capable mater
Kael nodded, pride evident in his posture. “Should we attack Nathan’s base now and capture Rachel?”
I shook my head firmly, No. If you know Nathan, he wouldn’t go anywhere without that bitch. We go after them!”
The anticipation of finally having both Nathan and Rachel in my grasp was intoxicating.
Soon, very soon, I would have my revenge.
