“Logan, I swear I didn’t mean to,” Lucia blurted out, her voice shaking with panic.
Lucia was terrified. She thought anxiously, ‘I really didn’t mean to do it. I just didn’t want Eden to get the storage room key. Maybe I was a bit on roken?

Lucia swallowed hard, clutching her bag tightly in a futile attempt to stall. Before she could react, Logan suddenly stood up and snatched it away.
“Logan,” Lucia cried out in desperation. Instinctively, she made a grab for it.
Unsteady on one leg, Logan caught Lucia reaching out out of the corner of his eye. As he moved to dodge, he lost his balance and collapsed back into the wheelchair, fixing her with a furious glare.
Lucia thought, “Why is he glaring at me? I didn’t even touch him.”
“Jenna,” Logan called out.
Jenna, who had rushed over upon hearing the commotion, jumped in fright when suddenly addressed. “S–Sir…”
“Go open the door.” Logan pulled out the key and thrust it at Jenna.
“Jenna…” Lucia turned slightly, made sure she was in Logan’s blind spot, and shot Jenna a warning glance.
Jenna thought anxiously, ‘Is this really just a key? It feels more like a hot potato, a ticking time bomb.

With a timid glance at Lucia, Jenna pushed the wheelchair toward the storage room. Under Logan’s piercing stare, she unlocked the door with trembling
hands.
Logan wheeled himself inside and shot to his feet. His foot still hadn’t healed, so he felt severe pain.
He collapsed back into the wheelchair, gripping the armrests tightly as pain shot through his foot.
The storage room had three rows of shelves. The two on the south side held gifts he’d received, each labeled with the giver’s information so he’d know exactly how to return the favor.
The north row displayed Logan’s personal collection, which he also intended to use for future social exchanges.

Audrey was surprised that Lucia had gotten caught so soon. She and Yann had just finished dinner and were strolling in their courtyard when Logan

If not for Logan’s self–restraint and his principle of never laying a hand on a woman, that cup would’ve already been hurted at Lucia.
Logan thought, ‘What kind of insane bullshit is this? So just matching Audrey is good? Since when did she become the bare minimum?
