Chapter 370
“You two are straight out of a fairy tale!” another grinned, and I squeezed Apollo’s hand, my cheeks flushing with pride and love.
“Thanks,” I said, glancing up at him.
He flashed that perfect, charming smile, pulling me closer, his arm a steady anchor as we walked.
In the strategy room, Tyler was hunched over a table strewn with blueprints and maps as he studied a diagram with laser focus.
“Hey, bro!” I called, bouncing into the room, my voice bright with excitement. “We’re here!”
Tyler looked up, his serious expression softening, a teasing glint sparking in his eyes. “You two really got engaged that fast, huh?” he said, leaning back. “I haven’t even had a chance to grill Apollo properly.”
I laughed, nudging Apollo’s side. “Oh, come on, Ty. You know I’ve got impeccable taste. You think I’d fall for someone who wasn’t incredible?”
Tyler’s gaze flicked to Apollo, narrowing slightly, like he was searching for something beneath the surface.
“I don’t know,” he said slowly. “Guess not. Apollo’s a hard worker, I’ll give him that. Executed every order flawlessly during the war.
I puffed out my chest, pride surging through me. “Exactly! My guy’s the best.”
Apollo chuckled, his arm slipping around my waist, warm and possessive.
“Don’t worry, Tyler,” he said, his voice smooth as honey. “I’ll spend my whole life treating Victoria right. I’ve never loved anyone like I love her. I’ll prove it every single day.”
Tyler’s eyes stayed guarded, but he nodded. “Alright. I won’t interfere with Victoria’s choices, but if you ever hurt her, Apollo, I’ll end you. No hesitation.”
I rolled my eyes, swatting Tyler’s arm playfully. “Oh my gosh, Tyler, chill. He’s gonna treat me like a queen forever.”
Before Tyler could reply, the door swung open, and Nathan strode in, cradling little Mateo in one arm, Rachel’s hand in the other.
“Well, look at this party, Nathan said, his deep voice warm with amusement. “Everyone’s here.”
Rachel’s face lit up as she saw me, pulling me into a quick, tight hug. “Congrats, Victoria!” she said, her voice full of warmth. “I’m so happy for
you.”
I blushed, hugging her back, my heart full. “Thanks! Congrats to you too!”
Nathan set Mateo down gently, then clapped his hands. “Alright, since we’re all here, let’s talk business. Take a seat.”
We settled around the table, Apollo’s hand resting on my thigh.
Nathan’s expression turned serious. “The world’s mostly at peace now, but Kael is still out there. We can’t let our guard down. Tyler, send a
team to hunt him down.”
“Got it,” Tyler said, scribbling a note. “I’ll handle it ASAP.
Nathan nodded, then turned to Apollo. “Apollo, tell Caelum that you both are in charge of pack and personnel resettlement. War’s left strays. Rogues who don’t comply go to the dungeon. Cooperative ones get jobs and integrate.”
“Understood, Apollo said.

Chapter 370
Nathan’s gaze softened as he looked at me. And you, Victoria? Happy?
I nodded, my eyes finding Apollo’s, his warm and adoring..
“So good. I’m cherishing each second of happiness,‘ I said.
Rachel touched my arm, her smile gentle. Seeing you this happy makes my heart full,” she said.
Apollo stated, “I’ll always take care of her, I promise.”
Suddenly, Mateo let out a piercing wail, his tiny face crumpling.
Rachel’s eyes widened, and she scooped him up, her voice tight with worry. “Baby, what’s wrong?‘
Before anyone could react, Mateo gagged, then vomited, a small puddle staining Rachel’s shirt.
Nathan’s face drained of color, his usual calm shattering.
“Shit, he muttered, standing fast. “We need to get him to Emma. Now.”
