Chapter 11
Asher sent his fastest messenger without hesitation. Within days, a letter bearing the seal of the Northern King reached the Black Stone Tribe.
Three days later, at the border between the territories, my father arrived with Leon, Mia, and a squad of elite warriors. In contrast, Asher brought only a dozen men, but his Alpha aura was so overwhelming that the Black Stone warriors could barely breathe, as if the very air conspired against them. My father’s face paled; in that moment, he saw just how powerless his so- called “elite” really were.
“King Asher,” my father greeted, his tone respectful.
Asher didn’t respond. His silver–gray eyes swept over the group, unreadable and cold. When his gaze landed on Leon and Mia, it turned razor–sharp, laced with killing intent. They instinctively stepped back, visibly shaken.
Then I stepped forward, still in my wolf form. My pure white coat shimmered in the sunlight, casting a radiant glow across the clearing. I walked with purpose to Asher’s side and released the full force of my Alpha bloodline, the Black Stone legacy burning in my veins.
Gasps rose. Every Black Stone warrior stared, stunned.
“Pauline…” my father choked, trembling as the color drained from his face. Leon and Mia looked equally shaken, guilt written plainly on their expressions.
Only then did Asher speak. His voice was like ice and steel.
“The poison in her body is gone.” He tossed a bound warrior to the ground. “He told me everything, including how you,” he said, locking his gaze on Leon, “sent assassins to kill my mate.”
He paused, then declared, “Pauline is my fated mate. She is the future Luna of Ashborn.”
Turning to the Black Stone warriors, his voice rang with finality. “Crossing into my territory to harm her is a capital crime under Northern law.”
The moment the words fell, Asher’s men struck. Within seconds, the elite Black Stone warriors lay dead, their blood staining the soil. My father collapsed to his knees, his body trembling.
Leon and Mia were frozen, pale and silent.
Asher’s gaze fixed on Mia. “A pathetic Omega who used poison to suppress a true Alpha bloodline and forged power to fake your
rank.”
Mia turned desperately to my father and Leon, but neither met her eyes.
Asher’s voice deepened into an Alpha Command. “Tell me. Did you poison Pauline?”
Her lips quivered. “Yes…”
“And the Alpha aura you carry?”
“I… I extracted blood essence from a dead Alpha and made a serum.”
At that, my father staggered, coughing blood. Grief and shame broke him.
Then Asher looked to Leon. “A Beta who betrayed his Alpha. I challenge you.”
Leon’s eyes widened. He knew he stood no chance–but to refuse meant exile in disgrace. “I… accept.”
Leon was tall and strong for a Beta. But compared to Asher, he was nothing.
Asher’s wolf form erupted into a colossal black beast, his obsidian fur gleaming with lethal power. His howl split the sky,

shaking the mountains with primal, undeniable dominance.
The battle ended quickly.
No tricks. No mercy. Just raw, devastating power.
Leon’s limbs were crushed one by one, until he collapsed–broken and screaming. Asher left him alive, stripped of pride, strength, and every shred of dignity.
A fallen Beta, humiliated before all.
