Grateful for Murphy’s words, Brendan once brought his sister back to the park in hopes of finding Murphy and thanking him in person. Unfortunately, despite visiting the park many times, they never crossed paths with Murphy again.
Brendan thought he might never get the chance to meet Murphy again, but fate had other plans. After joining Starry Moon Bay’s cryogenic experiment base, he discovered Murphy inside one of the cryo–caskets.
Hearing Murphy and Gemma’s story from Brendan, Brendan believed it was destiny that had brought them together once more.

From that moment on, Brendan vowed to perfect the technology needed to safely thaw Murphy and Gemma, just as Murphy’s words had brought him and his sister together.
“Honestly, I’ve been past retirement age for a while,” Brendan said with a smile. ” But I held on because I wanted to see you both wake up with my own eyes. Now that you’re finally here, my wish is fulfilled. I can retire peacefully and spend the rest of my days with my wife.”
Fate was indeed remarkable. Two love stories, separated by 50 years, had
intertwined to complete one another.
Later, Murphy and Gemma escorted Brendan back to his home.
Waiting at the doorway, holding a cat, was Brendan’s sister, now wife. She was already 83 years old.
On the way home, Brendan had stopped to buy her favorite chocolates.
Watching the white–haired but still deeply affectionate couple, Murphy and Gemma instinctively clasped their hands tighter together.
“Uncle Murphy, will we be this happy someday?” Gemma asked softly.
“We will,” Murphy vowed, his voice filled with unwavering conviction. “I swear, I’ll make sure you’re happy forever.”
It was a promise he would never break.
