Since Bertha didn’t say, Adalee wouldn’t ask.
Friendship thrived when both sides respected each other’s boundaries.
Neither too close nor too distant. When one needed help, the other always lent a hand.
Bertha nodded with a smile.
“Why is fate so unfair to you? Your husband is a jerk, and so is your kids‘ father. Men around you are all jerks,” Adalee commented.
Bertha raised a smile.
“No. My sons are good boys.”
While the two of them were chatting, the kids walked out.
Alfred was dressed in a fitted suit, wearing little leather shoes, a bow tie, and even a brooch. He looked like
someone successful.
Jacob was dressed in cool sportswear, black sports pants, a black hoodie, and a black sports cap. There was a big dragon embroidered on his hoodie, very vivid and lively. He looked eye–catching.
Ethan wore a trendy outfit, with a camel sweater on top and a bow tie at the collar, looking just like a British gentleman.
Adalee was stunned and couldn’t look away.
‘Oh, my! I’m touched.”
Bertha chuckled and pushed her slightly.“What are you doing?”
Adalee pretended to sob.
‘I never thought that boys could be this adorable. I must take photos with them and post them on Instagram. Everyone will envy me!”
She took out her phone and took a lot of pictures.
Although only the kids‘ eyes were shown in the photos, her friends on Instagram went crazy.
No surprises, it caused a little sensation.
Many people sent Adalee messages, asking about the kids. Adalee replied proudly.
“They are all my sons!”
Someone asked, “How did you get them?”
She replied, “I found them on the street.”
“Which street?”
“I’m not telling you.”

Bertha was worried she would laugh her head off.
Adalee was showing off. Bertha was both speechless and amused.
However, happiness was always short–lived.
Today at the hospital, Bertha swore that she wouldn’t appear in front of Marcus again.
However, she didn’t expect to run into him this evening.
And it wasn’t a decent encounter.
At seven o’clock in the evening, they arrived at St. Peter’s Restaurant on time.

It was the oldest, most unique, most high–end, and also the most expensive restaurant in Los Angeles, owned by the Gonzalez Group.
Many celebrities, politicians, and foreign ambassadors dined here when they came to Los Angeles.
As soon as Bertha, Adalee, and the kids showed up, everybody looked over.
Even though they were all wearing masks, their looks were still dazzling.
Especially Bertha, she was a natural beauty. After living in Northmoor Manor for years, she had become even
more attractive.
The good weather and environment had made her pure and like a fairy.
Bertha was stunningly beautiful.
The three little guys were also very eye–catching. Alfred was a little gentleman, Jacob looked cool, and Ethan was stylish.
The waiters and waitresses couldn’t help but praise repeatedly.
When they reached the top floor, a waitress led them to the private room.
The little ones took off their masks and leaned against the French window to look outside as soon as the door was closed. “Wow, the scene is great!”
Bertha had told them before that they must wear masks outside. She said there was smog and that the air quality was bad.
Actually, she just didn’t want the kids‘ father to notice them.
However, she didn’t expect the waitress to know Marcus.
When the waitress saw the little ones‘ faces, her smile froze instantly, and she was shocked.
