Fallen 49 Summary
Meadow wears a midnight blue, off-shoulder dress with a thigh-high slit, feeling both regal and seductive as she sits straddling Alaric’s leg. Their intimate interaction is charged with tension and desire, with Alaric teasing her and encouraging her to pleasure herself using his thigh, demonstrating a mix of control and seduction. Meadow struggles with her emotions, torn between her growing feelings for Alaric and the painful memories of her past, especially concerning her sister Juniper, who is somehow connected to Alaric’s control over the situation.
Alaric’s phone interrupts their moment, forcing him to leave abruptly for an urgent matter at the office. Meadow notices an envelope with a card from Alaric, which hints at his deep admiration for her, adding complexity to their relationship. Meanwhile, Alaric heads to a facility where Juniper, Meadow’s twin, is being held after stabbing a female orderly. Trip, Alaric’s associate, explains Juniper’s violent behavior and her attempt to get attention by stealing a scalpel.
Inside the facility, Alaric confronts Juniper, who is wild and defiant, yet visibly shaken. Their interaction reveals a tense dynamic, with Alaric asserting authority and Juniper resisting but also showing signs of confusion and fear. Alaric probes Juniper about the night she was brought to the facility, uncovering that she was with her fiancé Tyler and that she attacked her sister Meadow, which adds layers to the family conflict.
The confrontation escalates as Juniper realizes Alaric’s identity—not only Tyler’s boss but also her brother-in-law—deepening the personal stakes. Alaric maintains control, determined to get to the truth about Juniper’s actions and motivations, setting the stage for further revelations and conflict within the family.
Meadow’s POV:
I had on a midnight blue, off–shoulder dress with a sweetheart neckline that cinched my waist and flowed downward. It also had a thigh–high slit.
This was more… regal, and with the way Alaric was looking at me, it had to be seductive as well.
Or maybe he was just hyper aware of the fact that I was wearing nothing underneath, just like I was hyper aware of the fact that I was straddling the firm muscle of his leg, my bare center right on his thigh.
“Alaric…” My voice cracked, my body already trying to grind without permission.
“Problem, baby?” His voice was smooth as butter as he reached for my hair, releasing it from its knot so it fell down my back. His eyes darkened. “That’s more like it. Velvet’s a deadly fucking weapon on you,
Meadow.”
I swallowed, shifting forward on his thigh. This way, my knee grazed his bulge, and a gasp escaped my
mouth when I felt how thick and hard he was through the fabric.
Alaric groaned low. “Careful, love. Don’t wanna tempt me, do you?” His hand slid through the slit of the
dress before I could respond, and he ran a finger down my wet folds, letting out another groan.
“You’re dripping onto my slacks, you naughty girl.” He leaned in, lips grazing my neck before he nibbled lightly on the soft, sensitive skin while his thumb flicked my nub once. My back arched. “Ahh…”
“So fucking wet for me,” he murmured. “So fucking perfect.”
My heart stuttered. Alaric saying things like that made my knees fucking weak. Make me want to kiss
him–which, obviously, he wouldn’t allow for whatever reason he wouldn’t kiss me.
Alaric’s lips trailed downward to my collar bone, to my cleavage, peppering kisses all over as he rubbed
my clit in tiny circles. I held onto his shoulder, my moan long and low as my head fell back and the pleasure began to build.
“Go on, baby. I can already feel your juices on my bare thigh.” And then, he snatched his hand from my
heat.
And this time, instead of feeding my essence to me, he raised his fingers to his own mouth and–eyes never leaving mine–sucked his thumb into his mouth.
My eyes fluttered, lips parting. I had never seen anything more sexy and intimate in my entire life.
“Like I said,” he continued after pulling his finger out of his mouth. “Fucking exquisite. Much like this dress on you.”
Alaric leaned back against the chair, his hands completely off me now, almost like he was giving me the

reins, which he absolutely was.
He wanted me to make myself come with his thigh. Not his hands.
I raised my head to look in the mirror–Alaric was backing it, so I was the only one who would be able to see what I was doing to myself through the mirror.
I looked absolutely wrecked already, and I hadn’t even started moving yet.
I shifted slightly, dragging myself along the curve of his thigh, and my breath caught in my throat. The velvet was soft against my skin, but the friction against Alaric’s thigh was perfect.
Fucking perfect.
So perfect, I let out a whimper.
I began to move back and forth, gliding my folds along the fabric, my swollen clit brushing against it with every move I made, my knee still grazing his hard member.
“That’s it,” he said, his voice dropping even lower. “Nice and slow. Look at yourself, baby. Look how fucking gorgeous you are like this. How beautiful, how deserving you are of all this.”
I did.
As Alaric’s eyes stayed on me, my eyes remained locked on my own reflection, cheeks flushed–not that they ever stopped being that way. Lips parted. The dress clung to my body like it was perfectly made for me. My breasts rose and fell with every single breath. My thighs were trembling, my core throbbing.
More. I needed more.
But Alaric was just sitting there, the expression in his eyes dark and dangerous as he watched me lose control on nothing but his thigh.
I moved again and again, not stopping as I felt the pleasure climb even further.
If I was doing all this with Alaric and he was even able to make me feel this way without touching me, what would happen when he finally let go?
What would happen when he finally decided he was ready to kiss me? To fuck me?
I swallowed. There was no telling what I would do. No telling how my heart would react when I got even scared just from a gesture of getting me clothes for an event.
It would be easy for me to fall in love with Alaric.
Too easy.
And that wasn’t good for me, not after what I’d experienced with Tyler. I fell too quickly and look where that got me.

Juniper would always find a way to ruin things for me.
And… now I was thinking about my sister while I was riding another man’s thigh. The thigh of the man who had her locked up.
I hated it.
I increased the pace, trying to block those negative thoughts out of my mind as my hands moved to the nape of his neck.
The friction sent sparks through my body and I ground harder, unholy sounds escaping me as I chased the pressure and heat that curled low in my stomach.
“You want to come?” he asked roughly, his hand reaching for my hair to pull it backward as his nose grazed my neck. “You want to make a mess on my leg with that greedy little cunt?”
My breath hitched.
“Yes, daddy,” I panted. “Please.”
“Then do it,” he growled. “Rub that pretty pink pussy on me until you fall apart, baby. Ride me like the
filthy little thing you are.”
God.
Something inside me snapped. My hips rolled faster, rougher, the fabric dragging across my clit so perfectly I could barely sit upright.
My nails dug into his skin and Alaric let out a low groan. He barely felt pain, but he felt it underneath my touch. Something about that seemed so personal… so erotic.
I could hear the distinct sound of a phone buzzing somewhere but it was drowned out by all the noise I
was making.
“You’re close already, aren’t you?”
I nodded, tears pricking at my eyes from the intensity.
“Use your words.”
“Yes,” I gasped. “I’m close, Alaric. Please let me come. I–I need-”
Alaric leaned in, lips brushing my ear. “You can come, baby.”
The moment he said it, my eyes darted to the mirror just as my body obeyed. Intense pleasure tore through me and I cried out, riding it through even as my body shuddered against him.
I let go.

The buzz sounded again, and this time, it was louder now I was more focused.
“Is that…” I panted, pressing my forehead against his. “Is that yours or mine?”
“Mine,” he said plainly. “And as much as I’d love to give you the third orgasm for tonight, it’s been ringing incessantly and I need to take it. Stand, baby.”
Slowly, I got off his thigh, heat creeping up my neck when I noticed the dark, wet patch on his already dark slacks. And then my eyes drifted to his crotch and my tongue dried.
Alaric was hard as fuck, he had to be having blueballs by now.
He smirked as his gaze dropped to his thigh as well. “I think I like this dress better, don’t you?”
He didn’t wait for a response before rising to his feet, walking across the room to my bed where his phone
was.
“This better be fucking important, Trip,” he growled into his phone.
I ran my hand through my hair, not particularly interested in what the problem was. But then, the muscles of Alaric’s back tensed, and I noticed the way his fist curled and his grip around his phone tightened.
Yeah, this was definitely important.
“Be right there,” Alaric muttered, although his tone had gone cold.
“Is everything okay?” I asked quietly after he ended the call.
Alaric turned to face me, his expression indifferent as he beckoned me to him. I strode toward him and he reached around me, tugging on the zipper of the dress and pulling it down.
“Just something at the office,” he murmured. “I have to head out for a while.”
That was it. No further explanations. He just grabbed his shirt and walked right out of my room without so much as a glance back.
I heaved a sigh. It was so easy for him to act detached.
What the hell was I saying? He probably didn’t even need to act.
I started to slide the dress down my body when my eyes caught the envelope on the floor near the large mirror. The one that I’d dropped earlier, that Alaric had sent with the dresses.
Slowly, I walked over to it, and I opened the envelope, pulling out a gold–lettered card from inside. My heart thudded against my ribcage as I read the words:
‘You don’t need to impress anyone. But I want you to know you could. Easily.

CHAPTER 0049
Alaric’s POV:

This was not how I thought today would end. It wasn’t how I planned my time with Meadow was going to end–not when I wasn’t done doing all the things I wanted to do to her tonight.
And this absolutely wasn’t how I planned to meet Juniper Russell officially for the first time. But now I had no choice.
“She stabbed someone,” Trip had said. “A female orderly who’s currently in surgery.”
My grip tightened around the wheel. Not that I was surprised. I had a feeling that since she didn’t know who put her there, she was going to try to cause a ruckus.
I just didn’t think it would be something like this.
I had to lie to Meadow, tell her that it was just something at the office. Because if I’d told the truth, she would’ve wanted to tag along.
And as much as I knew I wouldn’t have let her, I’d rather not have that inconvenience sitting on my fucking head.
When I got to the facility, Trip was already waiting for me in the parking lot. He rushed over to my Aston Martin, pulling the door open before I could reach for it myself.
“Sir.”
“Who the fuck gave her a knife?” My voice was low, calm.
Trip walked beside me toward the doors. “Wasn’t a knife. It was a scalpel,” he grunted. “She must’ve
stolen it from the medical wing.”
“And she was in the medical wing, why?”
The nurses at the reception straightened the moment we stepped into the building, but I didn’t spare them a glance. I only had one destination in mind.
“Said something about an upset stomach,” he replied, as we stepped into the elevator. “Which the other
orderlies now realize was just a ploy to snatch the scalpel.”
“Fuck,” I cursed.
“Yeah,” Trip murmured. “Although, considering the fact that you haven’t come to see her once, she’s probably just trying to get the attention of whoever put her here.”
My jaw clenched. “Yeah, I figured.”

Normally, I’d ignore her, let her act however she wanted and still not release her until I was ready, but she stabbed someone. Put an innocent life in jeopardy.
We stepped out of the elevator and Trip led me to one of the private rooms down the hall. There, we waited, and it wasn’t long before I heard her voice.
“Let go of me!” she yelled. “Let me fucking go–fuck you!”
Something settled in my chest. She sounded exactly like Meadow–only difference was that her voice sounded hoarse, probably from all the screaming she must’ve been doing here.
My mouth twitched. This was the perfect punishment for someone like her. I lowered myself onto the
chair behind the desk.
“Yep,” Trip grunted under his breath. “That’s her, alright.”
“What the hell do you want from me? Where are you taking me?!”
The door was pushed open and two male orderlies walked in with Juniper, their grip tight on each of her
arms.
“What are you…” she trailed off when her eyes met Trip’s. “You. I remember… you took me, didn’t you?” she asked, probably remembering the night that she’d been taken.
The night she exhibited wickedness to her own flesh and blood.
Juniper tried to charge toward him. “Why the hell did you bring me here?” she gritted out.
“He’s not the one you should be asking that,” I said calmly, getting bored of her theatrics already.
And then, as if she’d just realized that there was someone else in the room, she stopped fighting the orderlies, and then her eyes shifted to me.
My breath nearly caught in my throat.
I knew that they were identical twins, but nothing on this earth could’ve prepared me for the sight in
front of me.
The only difference between them was the wild look of hatred and annoyance in her hazel eyes, and the
obvious hatred in her heart.
They were polar opposites.
Juniper’s brows pulled together. “Who the hell are you?”
I nodded at the orderlies, silently asking them to let her go and leave the room. And reluctantly, they did. Then, I turned to Trip.
“Sir,” Trip started to protest. “With all due respect, this woman has a penchant for violence.”

I simply arched my brow at him. “I’ve had you beside me for way too long, and now you forget that I can handle myself?”
Trip’s fists clenched, the protest still on his tongue, but he shook his head. “No, sir,” he muttered. “I’ll be right out the door.”
He walked out of the room, but not before shooting Juniper a look that could burn her to ashes.
The moment the door clicked shut behind him, I dragged my eyes back to Meadow’s insufferable twin.
“Sit,” I said, gesturing to the chair across from me.
Her eyes narrowed and she let out a mirthless laugh. “Funny how you think you can just come in here and order me and think that I’ll what? Sit like your little dog?”
She scowled. “Who the hell are you? And why are you keeping me here?”
“I said sit down, Juniper.”
Juniper’s scowl deepened and her hands came down on the table with force. “You will tell me what the hell I’m doing here and how you know my name, or I’ll—”
“What?” I arched a brow. “Pray tell. Perhaps find something to stab me with? But then, if you did that, you’d spend the rest of your life wondering why you’re here, going insane with each day that passes.”
I leaned back, feeling my mouth curve up in a smirk. “With no one to come see you. How is Tyler, by the way? Is your boyfriend a no–show?”
Juniper’s bottom lip quivered, and something resembling fear flashed in her eyes.
“Sit. Down. Juniper.” My voice was cold now, void of any emotion whatsoever.
Like a robot, she pulled out the seat and settled down onto it, her eyes never leaving mine like she was trying to figure something out even though she was terrified.
“I swear I’ve… I’ve seen you somewhere before,” she whispered, squinting at me.
“Have you?”
Her eyes narrowed further, but then she stopped, leaning back into the seat. “I don’t know. My head’s
been a bit fuzzy lately. The pills they’ve been giving me…” she trailed off, swallowing. “But I suppose I
have you to thank for that, don’t I?”
Her voice went lower, and I let her continue. “Two weeks in here and all I’ve wondered every single day is
how on earth I ended up here and who the hell put me here. But it was you, wasn’t it?”
She ran a hand through her hair, letting out a scoff. “Who are you?”
“Better question,” I muttered. “What do you remember about the night you were brought here?”

Her brows furrowed. “I was at home. At my fiance’s place.”
I nearly laughed. So the title of fiance had only shifted from Meadow to Juniper.
I leaned forward, rolling my sleeves up my arms and smirking at the way her eyes widened at my tattoos.
I couldn’t get over how much she looked like her.
I linked my hands under my chin, my elbows resting on the table. “And is that all?”
“Yes,” she answered quickly. “I was with Tyler and we were just having f-”
“I hate it when people lie to me, Juniper. Especially since I caught you and your boyfriend in the act. Now,
I ask again, what do you remember about the night you were brought here?”
She sniffed, looking away with her jaw clenched. “My sister was there. Meadow.”
“And?”
Juniper’s throat bobbed as she swallowed. But I didn’t mistake that for remorse or guilt.
“I… beat her up and asked my fiance to fuck her. But why does it even matter?” She asked louder now.” And what is this? Some kind of interrogation? By all means, take me to the police station, I don’t fucking care! I just can’t be here anymore.”
A chuckle rumbled in my throat and her expression grew worried. “How do you know who I am?” she whispered shakily. “And how did you find us?”
I smirked, remembering what I’d said to Meadow that night in Las Vegas. “I make it a point to know everything about my employees.”
“But I’m not…” Juniper trailed off. And then, as though it finally clicked for her, her eyes widened suddenly.
“You’re Tyler’s boss. You’re… Alaric Ashford!” she gasped.
“Not just that,” I said plainly, rising to my feet.
Leaning forward, I rested my fists on the table as I continued, “I’m your brother–in–law.”
