Chapter 66
Silvy
After Viper announced us as a family it was time to party and have a good time. But not for me just yet. The first thing I need to do is use the bathroom. Again. The baby has been using my bladder as a trampoline for the last ten minutes. As much as I was enjoying the vows and what Viper did for Xavier I wanted him to hurry up so I didn’t pee myself. As Gena, Dad, and Xavier greeted guests I ran as fast as I could to the bathroom. Okay, I lied. I didn’t run. I waddled as fast as I could. I waddle now. Goof thinks it is cute. I find it frustrating. But I know in the end it will be worth it. Every backache, swollen foot craving, and nausea will be worth it when I’m holding our baby in my arms. Yes, the baby is ours. I told Goof I’m not going to fight it and I meant it. Speaking of Goof he was waiting for me when I came out of the bathroom to make sure I got to the party alright. Always taking care of me that man.
I don’t think there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for me. I won’t ask but I’m pretty sure. I know that the talk I need to have with him is coming soon. Defiantly before the baby comes. I have gotten most of my feelings sorted. I am pretty sure I want to try to see if we can make a relationship work between us. That scares me a little. I had given up on having a relationship. I just didn’t want the heartache. It was just going to be me and the baby. That was all I was going to need. For Goof. No, for Micheal I am willing to take a chance. Only for him. I wouldn’t be risking everything for anyone but him. What am I risking? Or will be risking when I talk to him? If Goof doesn’t return my feelings I could lose a potential solid relationship. I could lose his friendship. And that will crush me. I don’t want to lose Goof in any way, shape or form.
I look over at the dance floor and see him dancing with Erin on his feet. Erin was smiling and giggling. Who wouldn’t fall in love with a guy like that? I feel a tap on my shoulder and look up to see Ratchet standing next to me. He knows I don’t sign well so he has his phone out asking if he can sit beside me. of course, he can. He points to Dad and Gena dancing and holds out his phone “They look good together. And happy.” I looked at him so he could read my lips “That they do. And I am happy for them. They both deserve it.” He point to Goof spinning Erin around and took a couple of pictures like the proud papa he is. Ratchet may be a Renegade, a badass biker, but when it comes to that little girl. He is a picture- taking teddy bear. Ratchet showed them to me. It was so adorable I wanted a copy and he sent one to me.
Ratchet places his phone on my lap. I read ” He is a good man.” I turn to Ratchet and mouth “How much do you know?” Ratchet grabs his phone and types quickly. He turns the phone to me so I’m the only one who can see it. “I know everything. Before everyone did.” he typed. That has me confused because we have been careful to keep everything quiet until recently. Ratchet turns his phone to me again.” People tend to talk freely when I’m around. And I have eyes. I have seen the two of you together for some time now.” he typed.

I’m enjoying this book very much, although it’s a pity about the grammatical errors and misspelled words
