:..

Yolanda returned to Moonbay Estate that night, but it was already two in the morning

When she got home, she ran into Charles, who smelled faintly of alcohol

She took his coat and hung it on the nearby rack, her tone indifferent. I spoke to William. He won’t press charges.”

Charles reached out and ruffled her hair. You came back this late just to handle that?”

William cares a lot about that kid. It took me some time to convince him,” she replied

He swept her into his arms, a playful smile on his lips. Looks like you’re really my perfect wife.”

His sweet words didn’t work on Yolanda anymore. She nudged him upstairs. Go hit the shower, you reek of booze.”

While Charles was taking a shower, he casually left his phone on the table

He never bothered to guard himself around Yolanda

As she listened to the water running in the bathroom, Yolanda picked up his phone and scrolled through the contacts. Just as she expected, Blake Alston’s number was right there

Blake Alston was a street racer and total troublemaker. After he and Renee met, the gap between their backgrounds couldn’t have been wider, but Renee was totally obsessed with him. That got Charles’s attention –he stepped right in, broke them up, and had Blake sent away for good

Girls like Renee, raised with every comfort, always went for the wild types. And Blake was exactly her kind of bad news: the fast cars, that facehe had more than enough to make anyone fall hard

Renee was just twenty at the time. After Charles split them up three years ago, Blake vanished from the picture

No one knew where he’d ended up, and Charles wasn’t about to waste any effort worrying about him

Yolanda memorized the number, then tucked the phone right back where Charles had left it

Just as she was about to step out, Charles came out, still rubbing a towel over his wet hair

With a towel slung low around his waist and water dripping from his hair, he caught her by the arm and pulled her back to him

Hey babe, if you’re feeling down, how about we head out tomorrow, just us two?Charles suggested playfully

You’re actually free?Yolanda shot back, genuinely surprised

It was pretty rare for Charles to have any time off

“Yeah, the shipping project’s nearly wrapped up. I’ve got some free time lately. Sowhere do you want to go? Your man’s all yours,” he grinned

Yolanda still couldn’t tell what Charles was really up to. Whenever he went out of town for work, he’d always invite his side piece alongnever the wife stuck at home

She just pushed him away. I’ll think about it.”

Charles picked up on her resistance, eyes narrowing with a hint of emotion as he let her go. Seriously? You’re not gonna stay in bed with me tonight?”

NopeI’ll just end up kicking the covers off all night,” Yolanda teased

He let out a soft laugh, guiding her hand to rest on his abs, her cool fingertips lingering against his warm skin

Yolanda’s fingers curled away, reluctant to make contact

Without warning, Charles pulled her into his arms and pressed her down onto the bed, his lips seeking hers with a burning heat

Yolanda turned away, and his kiss brushed her cheek instead

Charles leaned over her, his eyes dark and intense, the air between them changing. He was like a velvet blade -gentle enough to tease, but sharp and dangerous when he wanted to be

So, you’re really gonna keep me at arm’s length?he murmured, voice low and raspy

I’m on my period,Yolanda shot back, totally unfazed

Charles couldn’t help but laugh in disbelief, teasing as his hand wandered to test her claim. Your period? Nine days and it’s still hanging around?”

His fingertips found her, and he let out a sly chuckle. Period, huh? You sure about that?”

Yolanda didn’t look the least bit embarrassed to be caught lying. Instead, her eyes reddened and her voice trembled, I’m just feeling awful insideI really don’t want to. Is that okay?”

Charles paused, then slowly pulled his hand away and hugged her, resting his chin on her shoulder. You’re upsetthis is about that kid, huh?”

Yeah,” she murmured, her voice thick

Just send me a list of places you want to go, whenever. I’ll take you,” he offered gently

Okay,she said softly

He held Yolanda’s face in his hands, his lips still trailing gentle kisses. Alright, no need to cryit’s not like I’m forcing you.”

Charles couldn’t shake off a wave of irritation that had no real reason behind it

Yolanda lowered her lashes, looking every bit the wounded girl. I’m going back to my room.”

Charles pulled out a cigarette, watching her retreating figure. He ended up letting out a dry chuckle. How come I’ve never noticed you’re such a crybaby?”

Yolanda didn’t say a word. She just opened the door and left

Once the door was shut behind her, Yolanda’s tears vanished in an instant. She brushed her cheeks dry, her face cool and unreadable as she slipped back into her room

She picked up her phone and dialed Blake Alston’s number. The line rang, and soon a low, rough voice answered, Yeah?”

I’ll wire you two million dollars, all you have to do is come back and start messing with Renee again. Get her pregnant, make her toss the Sinclair family and choose you. If she dumps everything for you, I’ll give you another four million,Yolanda said with a cold, businesslike tone, not a hint of emotion

There was a long pause before Blake finally spoke, his voice low and wary. Who is this?”

Buy your ticket now. I’ll transfer you 600 thousand dollars as a deposit. You weren’t exactly happy when Charles had you sent away, right? Back then, you had a sick brotherhow’s he doing now?Yolanda’s voice was cool and matteroffact

Blake was silent for a few seconds before letting out a dry chuckle. I only got close to Renee for the cashto pay for my brother’s hospital bills.”

What, you mean you don’t need the money now?Yolanda pressed

Of course I need it,” Blake snorted. Ever since I left the country, I’ve needed cash more than ever. They don’t do health insurance over here.”

He took a deep breath. If I come back, Charles’s gonna destroy me. You have no idea what that man is capable of.”

He once shoved a gun right in my face. Didn’t even need to say a wordjust that look in his eyes was enough to freeze your soul.”

Blake, Renee just lost a finger. She’s broken right now, desperate for comfort. Six million dollarsyou just have to decide if you’re willing to take it,Yolanda said coldly, no room for doubt in her voice

I’m booking my flight as we speak, Miss Grant,Blake replied, no hesitation at all

Figured out it’s me already?Yolanda asked, sounding a little amused

I’d never forget your voice,” Blake replied, voice husky with the weight of memory

Yolanda frowned, thinking back. She’d only ever met Blake onceback before she married Charles. That day, she’d just happened to stumble upon Blake and Renee together on a date, and Renee instantly panicked, threatening her to keep her mouth shut

Back then, Blake was the picture of a reckless bad boyripped jeans hanging off his hips, bleached hair

spiked up, oozing rebellious vibes from every pore. Yolanda, still believing that loving Charles meant looking out for his entire family, tried persuading Renee to make better choices. Renee just shot back a string of sarcastic jabs right in front of Blake, who found the whole thing amusing. Then, not missing a beat, Blake swung a leg over his motorcycle and pulled Renee up behind him. The goodlooking pair sped off, laughing like they owned the world and didn’t care what anyone thought

The next evening, Charles took Yolanda to the Sinclair family home for dinner

Dylan was still out of town, and May couldn’t hide her disdain for Yolanda, her face a storm cloud the whole time

Renee, on the other hand, lost her temper completelyshe smashed a plate right on the table, jabbed a finger practically at Yolanda’s nose, and yelled, Get the hell out of here!”

Just as Renee was about to unleash another round of insults, her phone rang

Charles! If you bring her here again, I’m outI’ll run away and you won’t see me back in this house!Renee yelled, voice trembling with rage

Spitting out those words, she grabbed her phone and stormed out of the room

Yolanda was the one who’d asked to come tonight, and Charles would never turn her down for things like this

Just like she wanted, Renee stormed out

May slammed her fork down, her voice icy. You know Renee’s a wreck lately. Why’d you have to bring her here?”

Charles just sat there, calm as ever. She’s my wife. If she wants to come, it’s not like I can stop herwe’re still married.”

May’s chest rose and fell with anger, but deep down she knew Charles was a man of principle

She took a long breath, gave a cold smile. Enjoy your meal.”

Yolanda calmly picked up a rib and placed it in Charles’s bowl. Here you go, hubbyhave some.”

Charles shot her a quick look, grabbing his fork. Did that cheer you up?”

He’d already seen through her: Yolanda came here on purpose, just so Renee would flip out the second she

saw her

Yolanda didn’t say a word, so Charles grabbed her chin and made her look at him. So, did you figure out where you want to travel yet?”

Yeah, let’s do the Middle East this time,Yolanda said, not missing a beat

Charles raised his eyebrows, not having expected that answer

You realize it’s blazing hot there, and it’s definitely not luxury resort territory,he said, a little skeptical

I want to stay for ten days. That cool with you?Yolanda asked, totally unfazed

Ten days should be more than enough for Blake to win Renee over, Yolanda mused to herself

Titan Part 1: The Discovery of BetrayalYolanda Grant’s marriage was built on patience, sacrifice, and quiet endurance — but that illusion shattered in one night. It was late when she arrived at a dark, empty alley after receiving a mysterious message with an address. At first, she thought it was a misunderstanding. After all, her husband Charles Sinclair — a man of wealth, power, and refined taste — would never lower himself to something so vulgar. But when she saw him holding a young woman in his arms, kissing and touching her like a man possessed, every ounce of denial drained from her. Charles, the proud and disciplined businessman, was cheating — and in a filthy alleyway, no less.Part 2: The Scene of HumiliationFrom the safety of her car, Yolanda watched as the scene unfolded. The woman clinging to Charles was frail, trembling, and emotional, like a flower blooming in the mud. The surroundings — the stained floor, damp walls, and suffocating darkness — mocked everything Charles had always claimed to be. This wasn’t just infidelity; it was degradation. Yolanda’s mind swirled with disbelief. Her husband, who obsessed over class and perfection, had become a man of impulse and dirt. She didn’t confront him or make a scene; she didn’t even cry. Instead, she leaned back in her seat, numb, realizing that her marriage was already over in spirit.Part 3: Two Years of DevotionAs she sat there, flashes of the past flooded her mind. Two years of marriage — two years of her trying to please him in every way. She had known from the start that Charles didn’t love her. On their wedding day, he had made it painfully clear that his heart already belonged to another woman. Still, Yolanda married him out of hope, out of love, out of the foolish belief that devotion could melt even the coldest heart. She gave up her career, her ambitions, and her independence, just to prove she was worthy of him. She cared for him like a nurse for her patient — cooking his meals, planning his wardrobe, and tending to every detail of his life. And in return, she got nothing but distance and silence.Part 4: The Breaking PointNow, watching him entwined with another woman, everything she had built inside her — the patience, the sacrifice, the illusion — collapsed. The man she had once called her husband had become unrecognizable. He had torn off his noble mask and revealed himself as nothing more than a beast driven by desire. Yolanda felt like she’d been slapped, her dignity shattered into pieces. But instead of screaming or crying, she felt an eerie calm. Her pain was too deep to express. All she could think was: This marriage must end.Part 5: Charles’s UneaseWhile Yolanda drove home, Charles suddenly sensed that something was wrong. The headlights of a passing car illuminated his face, and a chill ran down his spine. He didn’t know whose car it was, but unease stirred in his chest. The girl in his arms whimpered for his attention, but his mind was already elsewhere. Straightening his clothes, he pulled away coldly. “That’s enough for tonight,” he said flatly. “The company’s got big projects. I can’t afford divorce rumors right now.” His words revealed not love, but calculation — every move guided by image and control. The girl, blinded by her feelings, agreed softly, claiming she would wait. But to Charles, it was just another temporary indulgence.Part 6: The Return HomeWhen Yolanda returned home, the villa felt colder than ever. She had just come out of the shower when Charles entered the bedroom, carrying his jacket. He looked as immaculate as always — tall, handsome, commanding — but tonight, his arrogance seemed cruel. On his pristine white shirt, Yolanda noticed a faint smear of pink lip gloss. She had never worn lip gloss; she hated its stickiness. That small, shiny mark told her everything she needed to know. As she dried her hair, she kept her expression neutral, unwilling to give him the satisfaction of seeing her pain.Part 7: The Cold ConversationCharles glanced at her and asked casually, “When did you get back?”“This afternoon,” she replied. He loosened his tie, unbuttoning his shirt as if nothing had happened. “I was out playing golf tonight,” he added. The lie rolled off his tongue effortlessly. Through the reflection in the window, Yolanda saw the dirt on his back — proof that golf wasn’t the only game he’d been playing. With quiet fury, she shot back, “Then I guess you scored plenty of holes. Congrats.”Her sarcasm caught him off guard. For the first time, he frowned, slightly unsettled. He wasn’t used to this tone from her — the woman who once worshiped him now sounded indifferent, almost mocking.Part 8: His Cruel ArroganceInstead of apologizing, Charles smirked and wrapped his arm around her waist. “Are you mad? I told you when we got married that I didn’t love you. If you’re that unhappy, find someone else to cheat with.” His words cut through her like a blade. It wasn’t just betrayal anymore — it was humiliation. He treated her heartbreak as an inconvenience, as if her pain were irrelevant. Inside, Yolanda’s chest felt like it was being strangled with wire, every breath searing. Yet she stayed silent. Her quietness, once a sign of love, now turned into armor.Part 9: The Memory of InnocenceIn that moment, Yolanda’s mind drifted back to when she first met Charles. She was young, freshly adopted into the Grant family, and he was already the picture of perfection — disciplined, confident, untouchable. Back then, she looked at him with admiration and love. To her, he was everything she aspired to be. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that this same man would someday make her feel worthless. All those years of love, of marriage, of giving — they now felt like a cruel joke.Part 10: A New Beginning Hidden in the Word “Fine”Charles chuckled when she finally said, “Fine.” To him, it was just another empty threat, another outburst that would fade with time. He kissed her cheek, confident that her love would keep her shackled to him forever. What he didn’t realize was that this time, “Fine” wasn’t surrender — it was goodbye. Behind her calm eyes, Yolanda had already made her decision. The love that once bound her had turned to ash, and from that ash, something new was forming — strength.Chapter 1 ends with Yolanda’s quiet determination to take back her life. She won’t cry or beg anymore. This time, she’ll walk away — not as a broken wife, but as a woman reborn through betrayal.
