Chapter 1
My CEO husband often invited his close friends over for dinner at our home, saying it helped him feel like they were family.
As everyone admired all the food I had painstakingly prepared, one of his friends grinned and remarked, “No doubt about it, Sandra–you’re the whole package!
“A woman as perfect as you could have totally won Kenneth’s affection.”
Keeping my expression neutral, I responded half–jokingly, “Oh? Could have?
“Those who don’t know may think Kenneth is seeing someone on the side.”
Instantly, the room fell silent. His friends looked stunned, and a faint trace of panic flickered in their eyes.
Meanwhile, my husband, Kenneth Harrison, wrapped an arm around my shoulder and smiled calmly.
“They’re just talking nonsense. Only you deserve to be my wife.”
I smiled back at his effortless performance.
But the moment I turned and stepped out of the dining room, I called my brother, Alban Burton.
“Alban, Kenneth cheated on me. Make sure he’s locked up–and that he rots in prison.”
Alban fell silent for a few seconds.

Then he said tentatively, “Sandy, are you sure? Could there be a mistake? I mean, Kenneth? He…”
I took off the wedding ring from my ring finger, the diamond digging into my palm.
“I’ve been married to him for ten years. I have every one of his cufflinks custom–ordered from Italy.
“But today, he’s wearing cheap plastic flowers instead of those fine cufflinks. Alban, do you still believe it’s a mistake?
“You know I won’t tolerate betrayal. I want you to expose every nasty thing he’s done over the years. Oh, and don’t forget to get me the best lawyer. I’m gonna get a divorce.”
Alban was seething with rage. “Alright.”
Half an hour later, several encrypted files arrived on my phone.
I opened the first photo. It showed a girl in a white shirt, her smile radiant and brimming with youthful energy, linking arms with Kenneth.
Beneath her sleeve, on her exposed wrist, was the same wolf head tattoo Kenneth had.
Without hesitation, I drove straight to the office.
Minutes later, a girl in a white dress with long, straight hair came rushing
out.
I caught a glimpse of her name tag–Jasmine Rowe.
The moment she saw me, her face went pale with terror. She instinctively hid her hands behind her back.
But it was too late. I already saw the custom Swiss watch.

On my birthday last year, I received a transaction alert–a purchase record from Switzerland.
It included a watch worth 500,000 dollars and a necklace worth 8,000
dollars.
I had carefully stored the necklace at home.
And that very watch was now on her wrist.
I scoffed, “Ms. Rowe, it seems your husband and mine share similar
tastes.
“Even the custom–made watches they picked are identical.”
Jasmine trembled at my words.
Her rosy lips parted several times before she finally stammered, “Y- Yeah… Maybe men just have similar tastes.”
She clutched the hem of her shirt so tightly her knuckles turned white.
“Cut it out already.
“You’re the mistress Kenneth’s friends all knew about, aren’t you?” I called her out.
Jasmine shivered even more violently, looking as though she might faint at any second.
“You’ve got it all wrong… Mr. Harrison fainted again because of low blood sugar, and I looked after him.
“His friends thought I was attentive and joked that we were together… That’s all it was.”
