Chapter 8
Serena had made some money, and with it, she hired trolls to manipulate public opinion. She even had them scrub her name from the trending topics. Slowly, the online discussions about her died down.
Meanwhile, the post I made to prove my innocence got flooded with comments from the trolls she had paid for.
One wrote, “Everyone makes mistakes! Are you saying you’ve never screwed up in your entire life?”
Another commented, “So what if Dr. Lawson misdiagnosed you? It’s not like she actually harmed you. Do you really have to go
after her like this?”
The next one read, “Exactly! I know you’re the victim, but you’re taking it too far. Ever heard of letting bygones be bygones?”
There were hundreds, maybe even thousands, of such comments under my post.
On top of that, my inbox was flooded with insults, threats, and demands to delete my post about Serena. Otherwise, they’d sue me for defamation.
Yet, I just smiled as I read through their rage-filled comments. I took screenshots of each one and saved them all as evidence for the day I would take Serena to court.
For several days, things went quiet. Aside from the comments under my posts, Serena’s name had all but vanished from the
internet.
Just when Serena thought she could stage a comeback, a patient came forward with a video calling her out. The victim used her real name, and in no time, the clip shot to the top of the trending charts.
The video showed multiple women who were heavily pregnant and furious. Each of them had seen Serena and taken the remedy she had prescribed.
“I’m filing an official complaint against Serena Lawson, that fraud of a doctor!” one of them declared. “She put my life and my baby’s at risk!”
Another chimed in, “You gave pregnant women tart cherry juice mixed with painkillers and called it a treatment. Serena Lawson, how do you sleep at night?”
“Tart cherry juice is highly acidic, and painkillers are addictive. How could you give this stuff to pregnant women? You’re going to pay for this!”
Serena wasn’t the only one who could hire trolls. I knew how to play that game, too.
Once I paid people to keep the post trending, it shot up the charts, jumping from the top 20 to the top five in no time.
That was when netizens who had followed the whole saga began digging and exposed all of Serena’s personal information.
Her entire background was laid bare, from her elementary school records to the shady degree she got from a no-name university abroad. It didn’t take long for people to realize she had zero medical training.
A comment stated, “Damn! I knew something was off when she misdiagnosed that poor lady as pregnant. Turns out, she’s not even a real doctor!”
“I knew it! If she had actually studied medicine, she would definitely know who the legendary Dr. Connor Parker is.”
Someone wrote, “Whether it’s traditional medicine or modern medicine, there’s still a process to diagnosing someone. She didn’t even examine that woman before insisting she was pregnant.”
“I called her out ages ago, and her fans tore me apart. Now that the truth’s finally out, it feels damn good to be right!”
The evidence against Serena was overwhelming. She had been posing as an OB-GYN to scam people out of their money. And now, the truth had finally come to light.

The trolls who had once bombarded my post scrambled to delete their comments, terrified the internet would come for them
next.
Unfortunately for them, I dropped the screenshots I had saved, along with a legal notice from my attorney.
In my past life, Serena’s reckless diagnosis had ruined me. I died without ever getting the chance to clear my name.
And in this life, I was going to reclaim everything she took from me. even what I lost in the last one.
I’d join forces with every victim she had ever hurt and take her to court. One way or another, she was going to pay for everything
she did.
