All those relatives would keep a close eye on her.
But she couldn’t just walk away from the mess she made. And if Gerhart started making things hard for her at work, it would be even worse.
“I–I’ll listen to you…” She, who used to fear nothing, started to shake.
“Listen to me?” Gerhart was a bit surprised. The arrogant, Latrina actually compromised?
“Yeah, I’ll listen to you…”

His gaze was sharp, and when it landed on Latrina, it felt heavy.
Latrina forced a smile and wanted to say yes, but she couldn’t help asking, “Is there any other good way?”
You don’t have to say anything. Just drive away.” Gerhart turned aside and didn’t look at her.
‘If I leave, will you get yelled at?” Her eyes met his deep, intimidating ones.
‘This has nothing to do with you.”
His jawline was tight, and his eyes were sharp and angular.

Gerhart let out a barely noticeable sigh, turned, and walked toward Richard. He helped Richard drove inside, and ignored her.
Latrina froze on the spot, her hands fidgeting together.
You brat! Did you piss her off?” Richard muttered in the passenger seat.

‘It was so hard to find such a pretty wife for you. Can’t you just talk a bit more? Are you mute?”
Gerhart didn’t say a word the whole time, kept a sullen face, and just let him curse.

‘Look at yourself. How old are you now? You’ve stayed single all this time just for that unofficial ex. Did she ever come back to you?
‘When are you going to change that stubborn temper of yours?”
“Grandpa, I don’t like her,” Gerhart suddenly said, his eyes a bit dazed.
“You don’t like her? Then why talk to her for so long? And why ask her to sew buttons on your broken clothes?
“Aren’t you a neat freak? How come you put this hundred–thousand–dollar coat on her? Why didn’t you put
it on me?”
The car slowly stopped in the parking lot next to the castle. He thought that rebellious Latrina would just turn

around and leave, but to his surprise, she came in with him.
They looked at each other without saying a word. When Richard saw this, he hurried off.
The heavy gaze fell on Latrina again, and a glint flashed in the deep eyes under the rimless glasses, but it disappeared right away.
Who could have thought that under this suit and such a gentlemanly look, he was actually so cold?
Do you know what the consequences of coming in are?” Gerhart didn’t walk over, but Latrina, who was standing by the car, already felt the pressure coming.
She shook her head, took two steps back, and leaned against the car door.

Latrina, you haven’t made up your mind. I suggest you go back. I’m not forcing you, and I’m not playing james.” His tone was calm, but his words were sharp.
Latrina was just being nice. Seeing that he didn’t appreciate it, she gripped her car keys tighter and said, “Sorry o bother you.”

got in the car without hesitation and sped out of the manor.
Gerhart stood there and watched her car drive away with exhaust, no extra expression on his face.
He deserves to get blasted tonight!” Latrina angrily gripped the steering wheel.
She pulled over and couldn’t bear to see him get scolded. After all, it was her own fault. She sighed, took out her phone, and sent a message to Richard, “Sorry, Richard. Something urgent came up. I’ll visit another day. Just give the finished clothes to Gerhart.” Then she transferred 3,000 dollars.
She didn’t expect Richard to send the transfer back.
“Latrina, stop being so formal with me. Gerhart told me you had something urgent and left early. Come back together to see me next time! I won’t take the money for the clothes. Anyway, I’ll have to make them for him
sooner or later.”
So, did Gerhart admit their relationship in front of his family?

Latrina held her forehead, haunted by Gerhart’s words about asking her to try to be his wife.
She chuckled. In this day and age, it was rare for a man to think that sleeping together meant they had to be tied down–especially someone from a big, powerful family like him.
She opened Gerhart’s chat on WhatsApp and transferred 3,000 dollars, noting it was for the shirt.
Right after she sent the message, a red exclamation mark popped up!
Goodness! He actually blocked her…
She was really pissed off! What a typical old–fashioned straight guy!
She tapped on the phone screen and deleted him.
Latrina turned off the screen. Maybe it was for the best. This vague relationship was over now.
She bit her lip, drove downtown, grabbed something to eat somewhere, and went back to her apartment.
The living room was cluttered with packed suitcases, but she hadn’t found a suitable place to stay these days, so hey just sat there, driving her crazy every time she looked at them.
Early in the morning, she carried a plain gift bag, glanced down at her phone, and followed the crowd into the
levator.
As soon as she stepped in, she caught that familiar scent. She knew whose it was. Sure enough, Kelvin was
tanding right next to her.
She didn’t dare to look. She walked to another corner, as far away from him as possible, but she could still feel hat piercing gaze on her.
Outside, the crowd was growing, and the elevator was packed to the brim with people and their various odors.
Latrina covered her mouth, turned away, and couldn’t help but gag a little. She faced the elevator wall and zagged a few more times. As the elevator ascended and the doors finally opened, the crowd thinned out and she slowly started to feel better.
Trina, what’s wrong? You haven’t had much of an appetite these days,” Monique said, approaching Latrina and looking at her pale face.
‘I’ve been looking for a place to move. Checked out a few, but none felt right,” Latrina replied, putting the gift bag on the floor.
“Alas, you’re single again,” Monique said with a playful smile. “Do you want me to set you up with a cute guy?” Latrina frowned at her. “If I want to date, I won’t need your help. I’ll have guys lining up to chase me for miles!”
“Yeah! The future famous fashion designer won’t be short of admirers.”
“Huh? Ms. Glover wants a date?”
What a coincidence. Laurence happened to overhear it as he was passing by.
The three of them laughed awkwardly.
