As Yolanda approached the gates of the Sinclair estate, she pulled out her phone and dialed Charles

Hey, honey, I’m here. I’m heading in now. Don’t worry about a thingjust focus on work,” she said, her voice warm and reassuring

Given all the drama between her and Renee, the fact that Yolanda came over to help so soon made her look like an absolute angel in Charles’s eyesso caring and sensible

That’s exactly how she wanted Charles to see her, which was why she made sure to call him first

As soon as she stepped into the living room, May’s sharp eyes zeroed in on her. She waved her hand dismissively. Go on, head upstairs. You’re good at playing nice, aren’t you?”

Yolanda just smiled, acting all meek and obedient, and headed straight upstairs

Inside, Renee was still sobbing, curled up on the floor with her knees hugged to her chest

Yolanda gently pushed the door open and walked in, carefully picking up a few things from the floor. Renee, are you alright?she asked softly

At the sound of her voice, Renee’s head snapped up, her expression suddenly turning fierce

What are you doing here?! You came just to laugh at me, didn’t you? You bitch!Renee yelled

She launched herself at Yolanda, trying to wrap her hands around her throat

Yolanda shielded herself with the pillow and said softlyin a voice dripping with sarcasm-Yep, that’s right. I came here just to watch you fall apart. And I’m here to let you know: Blake’s done with you. He doesn’t want you anymore.”

Those words sent Renee reeling, like she’d just been punched in the gut

Her face drained of all color, and her legs buckled, leaving her kneeling on the floor

No, that can’t be! Blake loves me, he can’t survive without me! He just went out to buy me a present, she stammered, desperately clutching onto hope

Oh, is that the surprise you were hoping for? Renee, tell me, what do you have that makes anyone want you anyway?Yolanda sneered

A panicked look flashed in Renee’s eyes as she wrapped her arms tight around her head. NoNo wayBlake loves me! I know you’re lying. You have to be lying to me”

Blake was the center of her entire worldand now, with him gone, everything inside her shattered in an instant

She kept mumbling the words in a broken loop, still kneeling with her head in her arms. NoImpossibleHe loves me. He really loves me”

May hovered outside the door for a bit. When the crying finally died down, she couldn’t help herselfshe quietly nudged the door open and slipped inside

What greeted her was Rence, still kneeling on the floor and muttering under her breathcompletely out of it

May stormed over, grabbed Yolanda’s arm in a rage, and hissed, What the hell did you do to her?!”

Yolanda frowned and kept leisurely picking things up from the floor. I just said a few things to calm her downbeats letting her wreck the whole place, doesn’t it? If you don’t like how I’m dealing with her, I might as well leave right now.”

Before Yolanda showed up, Renee had been crying, yelling, and smashing stuff nonstopeven May, her own mother, couldn’t take it anymore. There was no way she’d let Yolanda walk out now

May took a deep breath, biting back the urge to lash out. You just stay right here! Charles will be back this evening. You’ll all have dinner together, then you can go.”

Sure thing,Yolanda replied, still acting all sweet and obedient

Yolanda kept picking up the mess, looking like she was genuinely there to take care of Renee

May wanted to help Renee up, but the scratches on her arm throbbed painfully. She shot Yolanda a sharp look

You help her to the bed. What if she messes up her knees like this? Can you take responsibility for that?May snapped

Yolanda nodded, still wearing that sweet, obedient smile. I’ll clean up the floor first, then I’ll help her to bed.”

May finally seemed satisfied, sneering, No wonder a Grant woman knows how to serveyou’re good at this, aren’t you?”

Yolanda didn’t respond to May’s jab, just kept quiet until May finally left

As soon as the door clicked shut, she turned her attention back to Renee, who was still muttering to herself

Once the room was spotless, Yolanda picked up her phone and called Charles

Renee’s calmed down now. I tidied everything up, so the place looks perfect. You can come get me whenever you’re ready, she said, her tone sweet and reassuring

Charles felt his heart settle, the tension melting from his eyes. Got it. I’ll come pick you up tonight.”

Before, Yolanda would do all the work and only let Charles see the tip of the iceberg

Now, she did just a little and made sure Charles saw every bit of her effort

The more sweet and wellbehaved she acted, the less Charles suspected she was up to anything shadyor that any of this drama had anything to do with her

After all, she was a true Granttrained to handle things flawlessly

Renee’s eyes were blazing red, and she looked like she was about to go off and start screaming, but Yolanda cut her off, saying, Blake wanted me to tell you something before he left.”

At that, a desperate spark flared up in Renee’s eyes. She was so careful, almost whispering, What did he say?”

He said he never loved you. You were never worthy,Yolanda answered, her voice flat and cold

Renee’s face went ghostly pale, and she nearly fainted on the spot. Her body went limp, like all the strength had just drained out of her

Yolanda easily maneuvered her onto the bed, barely breaking a sweat

Renee was absolutely devastated. She lay there motionless, eyes fixed on the ceiling, looking completely hollowlike her whole world had collapsed and there was nothing left inside her

Yolanda thought, She deserves every bit of this

Yolanda quirked a small smile, found a book, and perched by the window to read

When she figured it was about time for Charles to show up, she moved over and sat down on the edge of the bed

She’d barely been there ten minutes when Charles pushed the door open, with May trailing right behind him

Seeing Renee asleep, May let out a long sigh of relief. She’s finally behaving herself now. She was out of control all morningcrying and screaming nonstop.”

Charles walked over and gave Yolanda a gentle hug. Thank you for everything. You’ve worked hard today.”

Yolanda stood up, looking sweet as ever. Really, it’s no trouble. I was just doing what I’m supposed to.”

Charles’s gaze shimmered for a moment, and he reached out to softly ruffle her hair

Just then, Renee suddenly snapped. Out of nowhere, she snatched up the vase from the nightstand and hurled it straight at them

Yolanda instinctively threw herself in front of Charles- the vase smashed into her forehead with a sickening thud, opening a nasty gash as blood instantly streamed down her face

Renee’s eyes blazed red, wild and feral like a monster. If you don’t love me, then you can all just die! Every single one of you deserves to die!she screamed

She sprang off the bed, stormed over to the window, and flung herself out without hesitation

It was just a twostory houseshe wasn’t gonna die from the jump, but her leg broke with a nasty snap

The whole Sinclair place turned into a madhouse. People were yelling, running around, and someone was already dialing the doctor

The family doctor showed up in like ten minutes, barely out of his car before May practically shoved him straight at Renee’s busted leg

The doctor’s attention went straight to Yolanda’s foreheadthere was no missing the obvious streak of blood

May snapped, Don’t just stand therecheck Renee’s leg!”

Yolanda kept her hand pressed to her forehead as blood slowly oozed between her fingers. Face pale, she managed a nod. Please, help Renee first.”

Charles’s brow furrowed as he pulled Yolanda into his arms. I’m taking you to the hospital.”

Butwhat about Renee?Yolanda said weakly, her voice barely above a whisper

Seriously? At a time like this, you’re still worrying about her?Charles shot back, his tone firm

Yolanda didn’t say another word, letting Charles all but bundle her into the car

As they were getting ready to leave, May hurried out after them. Dinner’s on the tablearen’t you staying to eat?”

I’m taking Yolanda to the hospital,Charles said firmly

Go to the hospital? For what? It’s just a tiny cutit’ll stop bleeding in a minute. You’re making such a fuss! You haven’t even spoken to Renee yetand once she starts flipping out again, how am I supposed to handle her on my own?May complained, her tone sharp and impatient

Charles picked up a tissue and carefully dabbed the blood from Yolanda’s fingers, his gaze steady and serious. Then let’s send her to a rehab center. She’ll have professionals to take care of her there.”

May stared in shock, as if she couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Sending Renee off to a recovery center- are you really just going to let everyone know she’s lost her mind?”

Charles, she’s your sister!May snapped, her voice sharp with anger

Mom, Yolanda is my wife. I can’t keep letting her get hurt every single time she comes over,Charles said, his tone firm and protective

Isn’t that what she’s here for? It’s just a little wound! The Sinclair family has done so much for her already!May shot back, her voice sharp and dismissive

Charles’s gaze went cold and sharp as he stared at May

May pressed her lips together, voice unwavering. I’m not sending Renee to a recovery center.”

Then you deal with her yourself. And don’t ever call Yolanda over again,Charles said, his tone absolute

Titan Part 1: The Discovery of BetrayalYolanda Grant’s marriage was built on patience, sacrifice, and quiet endurance — but that illusion shattered in one night. It was late when she arrived at a dark, empty alley after receiving a mysterious message with an address. At first, she thought it was a misunderstanding. After all, her husband Charles Sinclair — a man of wealth, power, and refined taste — would never lower himself to something so vulgar. But when she saw him holding a young woman in his arms, kissing and touching her like a man possessed, every ounce of denial drained from her. Charles, the proud and disciplined businessman, was cheating — and in a filthy alleyway, no less.Part 2: The Scene of HumiliationFrom the safety of her car, Yolanda watched as the scene unfolded. The woman clinging to Charles was frail, trembling, and emotional, like a flower blooming in the mud. The surroundings — the stained floor, damp walls, and suffocating darkness — mocked everything Charles had always claimed to be. This wasn’t just infidelity; it was degradation. Yolanda’s mind swirled with disbelief. Her husband, who obsessed over class and perfection, had become a man of impulse and dirt. She didn’t confront him or make a scene; she didn’t even cry. Instead, she leaned back in her seat, numb, realizing that her marriage was already over in spirit.Part 3: Two Years of DevotionAs she sat there, flashes of the past flooded her mind. Two years of marriage — two years of her trying to please him in every way. She had known from the start that Charles didn’t love her. On their wedding day, he had made it painfully clear that his heart already belonged to another woman. Still, Yolanda married him out of hope, out of love, out of the foolish belief that devotion could melt even the coldest heart. She gave up her career, her ambitions, and her independence, just to prove she was worthy of him. She cared for him like a nurse for her patient — cooking his meals, planning his wardrobe, and tending to every detail of his life. And in return, she got nothing but distance and silence.Part 4: The Breaking PointNow, watching him entwined with another woman, everything she had built inside her — the patience, the sacrifice, the illusion — collapsed. The man she had once called her husband had become unrecognizable. He had torn off his noble mask and revealed himself as nothing more than a beast driven by desire. Yolanda felt like she’d been slapped, her dignity shattered into pieces. But instead of screaming or crying, she felt an eerie calm. Her pain was too deep to express. All she could think was: This marriage must end.Part 5: Charles’s UneaseWhile Yolanda drove home, Charles suddenly sensed that something was wrong. The headlights of a passing car illuminated his face, and a chill ran down his spine. He didn’t know whose car it was, but unease stirred in his chest. The girl in his arms whimpered for his attention, but his mind was already elsewhere. Straightening his clothes, he pulled away coldly. “That’s enough for tonight,” he said flatly. “The company’s got big projects. I can’t afford divorce rumors right now.” His words revealed not love, but calculation — every move guided by image and control. The girl, blinded by her feelings, agreed softly, claiming she would wait. But to Charles, it was just another temporary indulgence.Part 6: The Return HomeWhen Yolanda returned home, the villa felt colder than ever. She had just come out of the shower when Charles entered the bedroom, carrying his jacket. He looked as immaculate as always — tall, handsome, commanding — but tonight, his arrogance seemed cruel. On his pristine white shirt, Yolanda noticed a faint smear of pink lip gloss. She had never worn lip gloss; she hated its stickiness. That small, shiny mark told her everything she needed to know. As she dried her hair, she kept her expression neutral, unwilling to give him the satisfaction of seeing her pain.Part 7: The Cold ConversationCharles glanced at her and asked casually, “When did you get back?”“This afternoon,” she replied. He loosened his tie, unbuttoning his shirt as if nothing had happened. “I was out playing golf tonight,” he added. The lie rolled off his tongue effortlessly. Through the reflection in the window, Yolanda saw the dirt on his back — proof that golf wasn’t the only game he’d been playing. With quiet fury, she shot back, “Then I guess you scored plenty of holes. Congrats.”Her sarcasm caught him off guard. For the first time, he frowned, slightly unsettled. He wasn’t used to this tone from her — the woman who once worshiped him now sounded indifferent, almost mocking.Part 8: His Cruel ArroganceInstead of apologizing, Charles smirked and wrapped his arm around her waist. “Are you mad? I told you when we got married that I didn’t love you. If you’re that unhappy, find someone else to cheat with.” His words cut through her like a blade. It wasn’t just betrayal anymore — it was humiliation. He treated her heartbreak as an inconvenience, as if her pain were irrelevant. Inside, Yolanda’s chest felt like it was being strangled with wire, every breath searing. Yet she stayed silent. Her quietness, once a sign of love, now turned into armor.Part 9: The Memory of InnocenceIn that moment, Yolanda’s mind drifted back to when she first met Charles. She was young, freshly adopted into the Grant family, and he was already the picture of perfection — disciplined, confident, untouchable. Back then, she looked at him with admiration and love. To her, he was everything she aspired to be. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that this same man would someday make her feel worthless. All those years of love, of marriage, of giving — they now felt like a cruel joke.Part 10: A New Beginning Hidden in the Word “Fine”Charles chuckled when she finally said, “Fine.” To him, it was just another empty threat, another outburst that would fade with time. He kissed her cheek, confident that her love would keep her shackled to him forever. What he didn’t realize was that this time, “Fine” wasn’t surrender — it was goodbye. Behind her calm eyes, Yolanda had already made her decision. The love that once bound her had turned to ash, and from that ash, something new was forming — strength.Chapter 1 ends with Yolanda’s quiet determination to take back her life. She won’t cry or beg anymore. This time, she’ll walk away — not as a broken wife, but as a woman reborn through betrayal.
